This year two of our classes (Tuesday Jazz & Thursday Ballet/Tap) participated in Ballerina Buddies with the Bucknell Bison Girls Dance Team. Students were paired up with a Bison girl. They wrote letters to each other first introducing themselves. Then, this past week the Bison Girls came into class and met their buddy in person! The bison girls worked with their buddy one-on-one on dance class skills in the center & across the floor. The two groups performed dances for each other. And we finished off class with each pair choreographing a dance to share with the rest of the class. It was a lot of fun!
