On Sunday, December 3, ten of our dancers traveled to Lancaster for a one day convention with Turn it Up Dance Challenge. Our intermediate dancers had a blast taking 5 master teacher classes in Hip Hop, Lyrical Contemporary, Pop Broadway, & Urban Choreography. They were particularly interested to see the Pop Broadway teacher, Thayne Jasperson, a current dancer/actor in Hamilton.

The convention had kid-friendly teachers who emphasized learning & having fun. Students not only learned from their teachers, but from watching other talented dancers (who came from central PA & NY). You can imagine that the energy when you have a room of maybe 75 kids who all love music & dance.

We enjoyed our first convention and hope to be back next year!
