On Saturday, December 6th, we did a short program for the Riverwoods Senior Living Community in Lewisburg. We had two jazz classes do holiday themed group dances. One to “Let It Snow” and the other to a mix called “Deck the Rooftop.”
We were also able to showcase two of our competitive routines, a lyrical soloist and a tap duo, that have been completed in preparation for the spring, competition season.
It was a new experience and we’re looking forward to going back and bringing the residents more entertainment when our competition and recital dances are ready. We love the opportunity to perform!

Our Competition Team is doing a Fun Pasta fundraiser. Anyone can participate with 40% of online sales benefiting the studio. There’s chilis, soups, and some really cute pastas. Our favorites are the Dance Pasta, Tennis Pasta, Nittany Lions Pasta, & Reindeer Gift Set.

We are so excited! Our expansion project is underway. Here, is a Before and After of our new, second studio, located on the 3rd floor; it’s to be known as Studio B.
Check the Dance Schedule tab. Some existing classes have been moved to Studio B while others are staying in Studio A. The change is effective November 2, 2014.
New classes for prospective (or current students) have not been posted yet.
We are excited to announce that we are adding a second studio (room)! Currently, we have one on the 2nd floor of our building. Our new, second studio will be on the third floor, Suite 300.
Having the second space will allow for two classes to go on at the same time. Look for new classes posted here on the website for enrollment for a January-May session!
Currently, the space is undergoing renovation. We are hopeful that it will be ready to use in November!

Aside from registering for dance class(es), make sure you are getting your dance shoes in August. Ordering online means ship time until your shoes arrive.

Inventory changes, but likely to find elementary aged apparel and ballet shoes, maybe tap shoes.
3. Department Stores like Target or Walmart may carry dance apparel and shoes. The shoes might be okay, but do NOT buy “Danskin slippers.” Ballet shoes must be made of canvas or leather & have an elastic strap.
Freestyle Dancewear in South Williamsport has closed, web included.

We’ve got Baby Ballet for 3-4 year olds and various levels/ages for Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop.
Have your sights on being selected for a competition line? Be sure to enroll in a class of that style to be considered (ie. Sally would like to be in the competitive tap group. She must be enrolled in a regular class of tap in the fall). Invitations go out mid-late Fall.
