Back from Nationals

10455242_10204207668656454_3074698829338210492_n (1)Summer has been so great that we forgot to post about how we did at Nationals! At the end of June, we attended Ticket to Broadway, Nationals, in Lancaster. We saw some familiar faces and saw some great talent.

We brought 19 of our competition dancers:
-two tap soloists
-a ballet soloist
-a jazz soloist
-a jazz trio
-a jazz group
-a tap group

This was our third competition of the year and our first time attending Ticket to Broadway’s Nationals competition.  Our tap group, “In the Tiki Room” received a High Gold placement while all of our other routines received Golds.  Congratulations to all of our dancers and way to end the year!

2014-2015 Schedule to Come

Our 2014-2015 studio schedule will be posted here as soon as possible sometime this summer, after our June 7th Recital.  We are working on putting it together.  Subscribe here (in the right margin) to get an email notification sent to you when the schedule is up and ready for registrations.  You can also like us on Facebook to hear our announcements.  You’ll want to be one of the first to see the schedule so you can get your first pick(s) in class time(s).  Some classes will fill and close. Recital Saturday, June 7th in Milton

Our 4th Annual Downtown Dance Recital is coming up! It’s this Saturday, June 7th at Milton High School in Milton. Doors open at 5:15pm, showtime is 6pm. Students are ages 3-12 dancing in the styles of ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. Tickets are $7, free for kids ages 7 & under.  It is open to the public.

Summer Dance Camps update

The following summer dance camps are OPEN for enrollment:

Tie Dye Hip Hop Camp, July 8-11th, 6:00-6:45pm Intermediate ages 8-12, 7:00-7:45pm Beginner for ages 12-14
Cowgirl/boy Tap Camp, July 21-24th, 6:00-6:45pm Beginner ages 5-7, 7:00-7:45pm Intermediate ages 6-7
Glitz & Glam Jazz Camp, August 4-7th, Intermediate ages 6-8

*All other camps are full and closed (including all Princess Ballet times, sorry).

Our summer dance camps stay open until they fill.  Here’s the update:
Princess Ballet has closed.

Tie-Dye Hip Hop (ages 8-12) beginner, intermediate, & (ages 12-14) beginner are open.
Cowboy/girl Tap (ages 5-7) beginner, (ages 6-7) intermediate are open.
Glitz & Glam Jazz (ages 6-8 beginner) has closed. Glitz & Glam Jazz (ages 6-8 intermediate) is open.

Dancing at the Lewisburg Arts Festival

We had 10 routines perform at the Lewisburg Arts Festival on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Featured here is our youngest student routine of the day, competitive group for ages 5-6, “In the Tiki Room.”

Dancers Inc. RESULTS!

Congrats to all dancers who competed at the Dancers Inc Competition! The Tiki Room dance placed High Gold and 1st place over all. We also had a soloist who received High Gold with the Best Musicality Special Award. The other 4 soloists and trio got gold! Congrats to all dancers!!
