In case you missed it, Downtown Dance was the featured new business in the Sunday September 26, 2010 issue of the Williamsport Sun-Gazette. Here’s the photo that accompanied the article. It shows Miss Christine & the Ballet Tap Combo class. They are doing the tap portion of class, flaps across the floor.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Downtown Dance is proud to support the “Paint the Valley Pink” fund by hosting a Zumba class! All proceeds from the class will go directly to the fund. This effort is being led by the Evangelical Community Hospital & Sunbury Broadcasting.

Enjoy this fun, latin-infused dance-fitness class knowing that you are helping others with your contribution! The cost is $10, but you are welcome to contribute more to the cause. Please make checks payable to: “Evangelical Community Hospital” with Paint the Valley Pink in the memo.
You do not have to be registered at Downtown Dance to take part in this event. However, signing up for the event in advance is required. Call, email, or stop by the studio to reserve your spot.
Don’t forget to sport pink to class! If you don’t have anything pink and are looking to buy something, make your purchase through Susan G. Komen for the Cure or through the Zumba website. As always, be sure to wear low-tread sneakers to class and bring water and a towel.
The Natural Food & Garden Store (in Lewisburg) hosts an event every month called Second Saturday where local businesses can hand out information to those interested. Downtown Dance will have a table outside the main entrance of the store this Saturday. Whether you’re interested in Zumba, youth, or adult dance classes, we’ll be there to answer any of your questions.

You are welcome to come see the studio, enroll or ask about classes, and enjoy some treats! Then after seeing us, walk down the block to the Campus Theatre and Barnes & Noble for special childrens’ events.
Baby Ballet and Ballet Tap Combo classes begin on Monday, August 30 (then are off the following Monday for Labor Day). All other dance classes commence the week of September 7. Zumba is ongoing.

Welcome to Downtown Dance!
We are a dance & fitness studio offering classes for youth and adults. Through dance, we gain body awareness, confidence, and musicality. We challenge our minds and our bodies.
